Clusters often emerge around industry-specific knowledge institutions with a local knowledge edge and high spin-off rates. Frankfurt’s House of Logistics and Mobility (HOLM) serves as a case in this empirical study of the cooperation between science and business.

Based on evaluations of the cluster surveys analysed for the Cluster Study FrankfurtRheinMain, actual proposals for the building of cluster-related knowledge infrastructures are put forward.
